Our journale is a peer-reviewed professional scientific publication in the field of social communications and journalism, which presents verified, scientifically balanced information from the life of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, results of scientific research.
Our journal has the following sections:

We fully adhere to the APA standard, as outlined in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition, when it comes to the structure of articles, their types, and design. See the main excerpts from this book here.
We adhere to the following classification of articles: empirical articles with quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods of research and replication (replication articles). These journal articles report on primary or original research, that is, research that has not been formally published before. Theoretical articles and methodological articles do not present research, but describe advances in theories or methods. Journal articles that review or synthesize the results of primary research include literature reviews and quantitative and qualitative meta-analyses. Different types of articles can be published in the thematic sections of the journal, so we label the type of article in the Category section of the website.
Founded in 2000. Until 2024, the journal had a different website. and since 2025 it has been on the OJS platform.
